Animal Farm[[Chapter 1-2]]

Chaperter 1

  1. It showes that the pigs are going to take the leadership
  2. The way the abnimals arrange them selfs shows how close the animals are.
  3. The humans are the cause of the animals problems
  4. Two legs are bad four legs are good.
  5. Anything that walks on two legs is bad.
  6. They like the song because it makes a point about what major said
Chapter 2
  1. The pigs start thinking more about the Rebellion and see life in a diffrent way
  2. They dont like the stories because they aren't real
  3. Mr.Jones gets really drunk and forgets to feed the animals for about a day or two
  4. The animals look around the farm to check if any humans are in the farm
  5. The animals keep it as a museum
  6. take the leadership and might end up greedy.

        • Napoleon-The pig who becos leader after the Rebellion.
        • Snowball-The pig who challenges Napoleon for the leadership after the Rebellion
        • Boxer-A horse whose strength, dedication, and loyalty who plays a key role in Animal Farm.
        • Squealer-The pig who spreads rumors about Napoleon.
        • Old Major-The pig that inspired the Rebellion and died soon after that.
        • Clover-A horse who is good friends with boxer and often suspects the pigs are violating the 7 commandments
        • Moses-The raven who spreads stories of the sugarcandy mountain.
        • Mollie-Likes humans and likes to be groomed.
        • Benjamin-The donkey who doesnt like the idea of the Rebellion.
        • Muriel-The white goat who reads the seven commandments to clover when she suspects the pigs.
        • Mr. Jones-The owner of the animals, he usually would be drunk untill the rebellion happens.
        • Mr. Frederick-The tough operator of Pinchfield. (Based on Adolf Hitler)
        • Mr. Pilkington-A farmer who runs the foxxwood.
        • Mr. Whymper-The solicitor Napoleon hires to represent Animal Farm.
        • Jessie-A dog who gives birth to puppies and napoleon takes them to educate them.
        • Bluebell-The other dog who gets her puppies taken away to get educated.
        • Minimus-The poet pig who writes about Napoleon.

        George Orwell

        Biography
        George Orwell real name is Eric Blair he was born 1903 in Motihari, Bengal, his dad worked for the Opium Department of the Civil Service. His mom took him to Englad when he was one and he didnt see his da till he was about four years old. Eric Blair had an older sister named Marjorie and a younger sister named Avril. When he was five he was sent to a Anglican parish school in Henley. Two years later Blair was recommended to one of the most successful preparatory schools in England. He attended with a scholarship that let his parents pay half of what they were supose to. As time passed Blair earned scholarships to Wellington and Eton colleges. Blair went to Eton for a while than he moved to Wellingon. At Wellington he was King's scholar from 1917-1921.
